Notables:
Good late summer to you all! Every quarter I am amazed at
how time flies. I hope the heat and high gas prices haven't
slowed your sewing enthusiasm.
One again we have had a great sewing star with us. If you
missed Cindy Losekamp, you missed an exceptionally talented
and full of ideas, lady. Everyone that attended was thrilled
with the projects and all the ideas. We even celebrated
a birthday (Jean Hurtado) while Cindy was here. She heard
Jean say it was her birthday the next day, so, Cindy brought
her a cake with a candle that sang "Happy Birthday"
. You can't beat that for being a kind and thoughtful star.
Be sure to set aside time to attend the "What's New
with Pfaff" event presented by our friend, Sara Boughner
Gallegos. You may have seen Sara as hostess to Behind the
Seams, a popular on-line sewing show. This has become an
annual event with Sara after each Pfaff Conventions. You
don't want to miss this!
Coming in Sept., we will change our hands-on Sew/Quilt
group time to a fellowship time. That means starting at
Noon, each meeting will begins with lunch. After lunch,
there will be a show and tell time. Be sure to start planning
what you want to show off. Ending the afternoon, there will
a demonstration of a new technique and product. You will
receive the instructions for the project. Kits will be available
for purchase, as well.
Fun to Sew is proud to announce they will be the central
Oklahoma dealer for TinLizzie18, the affordable longarm
quilting machine. The company owners, the Floyd family,
will be here to demonstrate this fun and exciting machine
August 14 and 15.
Thanks to all of you that continue to support Fun to Sew,
I gratefully appreciate your loyalty!!!
Here's to fun sewing, Pam
